Week of January 29, 2018

Dear Parents and Guardians,

This week...

Language- we are continuing our unit on Persuasive Writing
               - we are revising and editing our draft

      Math- we are solving problems involving the relationship between a 12-hour clock
                 and a 24-hour clock

Religion/Family Life- we are learning about the importance of having rules in a family

Some dates to keep in mind:

1. Virtue Assembly on Thursday, February 1st at 9am
2. Popcorn Day on Friday February 2nd

This week...

Our students will be going skiing or participating in WOW on Thursday, January 25th.

A reminder that Friday is a PD day. There is no school!

        Math- we are finishing our Geometry Unit
                - we are starting our Elapsed Time Unit

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Forms for the Ski Trip are due January 16, 2018. 

Students in Grades 4, 5, 6 will be able to participate in an outdoor activity at Mount Pakenham, Ontario on Thursday, January 25th. Similar to last year, we will be offering the options of Skiing or W.O.W (Winter Outdoor Wonder- including tubing, snowshoeing and orienteering.
